    Complete the secure membership application and pay the one-time enrollment fee. We review every application personally.

    2. Onboard
    Sign your membership agreement and schedule your comprehensive intake visit. This is where we establish your baseline and health goals.

    3. Access
    Text, call, or message via Proton Mail. Need a visit? You’ll be seen same-day or next-day.

Payment and Privacy.

Your Data, Your Money

We communicate exclusively through Proton Mail—encrypted, zero-access, no scanning for ads. Your clinical records are stored on HIPAA-compliant, encrypted infrastructure.

For payment, we accept traditional methods, but we also welcome Bitcoin and Lightning Network payments. No financial surveillance. No reporting to third parties.

FAQs

Do I still need insurance?
Yes, but for catastrophic coverage only. We recommend a high-deductible plan or health share for hospitalizations and major events. Your membership covers 90% of what you'll actually use a doctor for.

Can I really pay in Bitcoin?
Yes. Membership dues and visit fees can be paid via Lightning Network or on-chain Bitcoin. We use Zaprite for secure, non-custodial invoicing.

What if I move or need to cancel?
Memberships are month-to-month after a minimum six-month commitment. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice.

Is my information secure?
All messaging is handled through encrypted Proton Mail. Your records are never stored in a commercial cloud accessible to advertisers or data brokers.

Do you see Medicare/Medicaid patients?
Dr. Smith has opted out of the Medicare program. Services are provided via private contract. Patients may not seek Medicare reimbursement for DPC membership fees. We do not currently enroll Medicaid beneficiaries.

What geographic area do you serve?
Mount Airy and Central Maryland. Certain services may be available via telehealth where appropriate.
